1. What attracted you to Certified Wedding Specialist (CWS) training course by Weddings Beautiful Worldwide(WBW)? Why WBW versus other training courses?

Back in 2010, I decided I wanted to change my career path to wedding planning. I began reading all the books I could find at that time about wedding planning. One book I read was called: Become a Wedding Planner by: Fabjob, Catherine Goulet, Jan L. Riddeell and Tag Goulet. In the book, it had reputable associations and certification companies, and Weddings Beautiful was listed as one of them.

2. Tell us about your experience with Weddings Beautiful Worldwide?

It was an amazing experience! I took the course and went to a meetup in Las Vegas. There, I met my teachers and other students, just as eager to learn as I was.

3. Describe what CWS tools were a part of your wedding planning journey and growth?

I would use the membership monthly newsletters and shareable blogs as a resource to come up with content material for my blogs.

4. Share a few words about your career in the wedding industry, and any new things you are up to?

I've been planning weddings and events for 11 years. I have been lucky enough to have been featured twice. Once on Style me Pretty and another on Wedding Wire. I also was able to assist during a filming of MTV's: My Super Sweet Quince. I also took an event design course and started doing more event design. Since the pandemic, I have pivoted my business to cater to children as well. I now offer COVID-19 friendly party set-up and I have also taken up balloon design. I love making large hand crafted organic balloon garlands and balloon bouquets, which helps me live my best life in color!
