Weddings Beautiful Worldwide offers education and certification to aspiring and established wedding planners. With over 50 years in the industry, WBW has staff rich in experience and ready to support you personally as you work toward certification.

WBW offers two certifications: Certified Wedding Specialist (CWS) and Certified Wedding Planner (CWP).

Jacqueline Vazquez

Chief Executive Officer

With over 20 years of experience in the event industry, Vazquez is the founder of Lifetime Events by Jacqueline and a sought-after wedding and event planner, educator, mentor, speaker, and author. She is a Master Wedding Planner, Certified Wedding Specialist, Certified Wedding Planner, and Certified Wedding and Event Planner. Vazquez has been a Community Member of Weddings Beautiful Worldwide since 2007 and was the first to achieve both the CWS and CWP certifications.

Lynda Fitch

Chief Operations Officer

Lynda has experience in numerous businesses in the wedding industry, and as COO she coordinates company policy and manages WB’s international licensees. Still, she enjoys communicating directly with WB customers to help them with all of their needs.

Pat Mahoney

Industry Liaison Coordinator

Pat uses the knowledge gained from thirty years in the wedding industry to write Wedding Notes and Pat's Pen for Weddings Beautiful. Before joining our team, Pat was an executive with the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Her Wedding Notes are articles of tips and trends in the wedding industry, that you are free to modify and use to represent your business in local advertising or social media. It's like having your own personal ghostwriter to support your reputation as a knowledgeable professional in your market.

B.G. Wright

B.G. was introduced to bridal retail, jewelry retail, and event planning by his family who made careers serving these industries. Doris Nixon and Gary Wright, B.G.’s father, began certifying industry professionals in 1968. Today, B.G. and Doris Nixon continue this legacy with a renewed vision for WBW to support entrepreneurs.

Board Member Emeritus

Doris created the original CWS course, and she established the first WBW international affiliate in Japan. Her impact on students is evidenced by her continuing correspondence with CWS graduates. "What I love most about WBW is that it uplifts people. I love seeing a student gain confidence through the course."

Michael Nolte

Board Member

Michael has personally planned over 1,300 weddings. He planned his first at the age of 25 and was an early recipient of CWS certification. As an author, dynamic speaker, and bridal salon owner, Michael is one of the most experienced wedding experts in the country,
